InMode 810 Diode lasers are a popular preference for hair removal due to the deep penetration and targeting of the hair follicle with high papilla absorption. Cutera ProWave 770 offers three wavelength settings. Making lighter and finer hair removal more easily possible with the better targeting capabilities. This Cutera handpiece emits infrared light at 770-1100nm. Light energy is then selectively absorbed by melanin in the hair follicle and shaft, destroying the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding tissue. This laser uses a large treatment spot size which allows multiple hair follicles to be targeted at the same time with a cooling plate to limit discomfort.
